it will be fun for a while but it will be easy to block. even thespecialist who found the hack said so in an interview. i just want wait until they fully exploit the 360 so we can run homebrew like original xbox
TeamXecuter is well respected in the area of mod chips. If you stayed on top of the hack progress you would know that...Teamxecuter has said that they will not release a mod chip with this type of hack. They most certainly have YEARS and years of experience along with members of the community.Trying to replicate the hack will most certainly brick your 360? Wait a while if your a n00b.Microsoft will play a cat/mouse game. Welcome to the SCENE.Put them out of business? There not doing anything illegal.
Where the hell are you all getting this 80 -100 USD per game deal?I paid for the Oblivion collector set and it was a total of just barely $72.34. That isn't quiet 80 dollars in my book...This reminds me of Dreamcast when everyone found out all you had to do was rip a rom from the interwebs, burn as a disc image and then throw it in the dreamcast and play.
"Emulation isn't a "gray" area, it's pretty black and white. The emulators themselves are legal (as long as they don't contain any copyrighted BIOS), of course all you can legally run are homebrew apps. No one is allowed to have a "backup" of their games. Every Nintendo (NES - Gamecube), PlayStation and Xbox game's instruction manual specifically states you are NOT allowed to make any sort of "backup" of the game."But once the Console is no longer being sold in stores your alowed to... and thats a fact...i can legally download games from the orginal nintendo and i wont get sued!... i was on digg a couple of months ago...
taylorwood for the games that do not have demos etc this is where GAMEFLY comes in... U get to play the game first and if you do indeed wish to purchase it...its only 45 not 60+++ ;) peace out G
