joystiq.com — if you find yourself in need digital stimulation on a budget, we suggest turning your eyes to Steam some point over the next two days -- this weekend only, Team Fortress 2 is half-price, going for a single crisp Hammy (the shorthand name for Alexander Hamilton, who's on the ten dollar bill. Try to keep up, people).

Too bad I didn't realize how much I'd buy from Valve BEFORE I bought everything. I've spent around $140, and all of it has been from Valve, and all of it is included in the Valve Complete Pack. Too bad I can't just upgrade...

I got the Orange Box cuz I wanted to play Portal. I tried to play Team Fortress, but was never able to join any online games -- they were all locked or had some mod I didn't know how to find.

no if it was $6 i would end up spending more since i would be buying it for every one on my steam friends list that doesn't own it.

I might not have dugg you down if you had at least said what is was specifically you don't like about the game. As it is you just gave us your opinion. No one here gives a s**t what you like or dislike.

Yeah, Crossover Games is working for me. I was able to get that for free awhile back with that George Bush promo they had.

In my opinion Valve always seems to have its finger on the pulse of the gaming market. No wonder they succeed where big companies fail.
