Mine did too. Up until I was 4-5, all the presents were from Santa, and one was from Mom/Dad. Every year there were less from Santa and more from the 'rents.Now that I'm 35, Santa only gives me one. Bastard!
Actually, my parents told all of us strait away that santa wasn't real, and our Christmases still kicked ass! We were poor and didn't get a lot of presents, but the house just thick with christmas feeling. Lights, decorations christmas music playing everywhere, and the smell of cookies. Ooh we felt that 'magic' like crazy.I don't think not believing in santa diminished anything. It was just as impossible for me to sleep christmas eve as any kid. And I never had the disappointing feeling of finding out he's fake.
