Accusing someone telling children to stay in school, work hard, and live good productive lives of "indoctrinating" them, whilst promoting a book that tells the children pretty much the same thing is hypocrisy. When you factor in the fact that Republicans accused a Democratic President of "indoctrinating" children by telling them to stay in school, work hard, and live good productive lives whilst promoting a book that tells the children pretty much the same thing, it becomes partisan hypocrisy.Q.E.D.
So, if you admit Republicans do it, and you clearly think Democrats also do it (just like me), why do you (probably - I'll just assume you're not a libertarian for this conversation, but please correct me if I'm wrong!) support political candidates who give more & more money to failing public schools??

So shoot me. If you hate me so bad and think that my removal from the planet would be an improvement then DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT ya f**kin ****.I already procreated. Youll have to shoot my kids too because they think like I do. Sorry, you dont have a monopoly on thought yet. You're going to have to do a lot of killing to make sure everyone thinks exactly like you do.Do you want to advance as a species? Then stop feeding the stupid people that cant fend for themselves. We are digressing as a species not because of people like me who are perfectly capable of taking care of themselves and actually contribute to society (I employ people, thank you very little), but because we continue to support people who have no benefit or value to the group. Something tells me you dont really want to advance, because real advancement would likely eliminate stupid, weak f**ks like you.
No no, I don't think YOU understand. See, my point is this: He worked his ass off for the government to get that GI bill. You are correct in saying that government jobs are NOT a "sit on your ass and get money handed to you", THAT IS MY POINT!See, people expect the government to give them money for nothing other than their status, sometimes race, or misfortune. He took a government job, worked his ass off to EARN IT, unlike people who expect the handout.Besides, this doesn't really qualify as government "help" in the strictest sense as is another one of my points. Help would infer that he expected them to bail him out, give him free money and he could walk away but he saw it as a service: a mutual benefit to both him and the country he loves. That shores up my previous point of people expecting a handout. No, they do not "giveaway" money for the GI bill. Ask any soldier, sailor, marine, etc. whether or not it was given to them and they would laugh in your face. My brother, sister, and father-in-law EARNED that GI bill rather than sitting around pouting and crying until the government gave them money for college.Maybe instead of guessing what I inferred of you you should get your terminology straight and realize the difference between a benefitial/symbiotic relationship (WORKING for each other) rather than a parasitic one.
We'll I'm glad you were perceptive enough to associate anything that is dark skinned wanting handouts as allegory for a dark skinned impoverished minority. Some of us, including the author, don't jump to that conclusion immediately.

Whether it's the workplace or the class room, both of which i've spent my fair share in, I observed the same.
