White, the govt is not taking over 1/6th of the economy, even the Fox News scare mongers don't claim that (well, maybe Beck is loony enough to). A strong public option would cover perhaps 5% of the population. How people can misconstrue this a 'govt takeover' is simply amazing.

you know, there were so many people out there participating in ron paul revolution tea parties all over the country during bush's era and nobody noticed or said a bloody thing. nobody in the news cared, if you did hear anything about it, it was all those "anti-war crazy liberals" blah, blah, blah, and they misrepresented the numbers of who showed up and the very reasons they were being held in the first place. now all of a sudden tea parties are popular, it's "right-wing crazies" that are holding them this time, and again there's misrepresentation of numbers and reasons for having them; blah, blah, blah. oh, and everyone who disagrees with bush was a terrorist turns into everyone who disagrees with obama is a racist... blah, blah, blah.and everyone just keeps on playing the divide and conquer game...

IM A DEM i believe in a different route and sometimes disagree what will truly get us there than a moderate GOP ,But moderate Dems and moderate Gops - USUALLY - want the same things for our country.JUST REMEMBER calling something socialistic or fascist or nazi or commie or good or bad does not make it so. THINGS ARE GOOD OR BAD only when also CONSIDERING THE CONDITiONS IF IT FITS ON A BUMPER STICKER its not all the info you need to know. Ex: Wine is good for your heart.1. red wine is better unless your allergic to sulfites.2. not over 1 or 2 glasses per day3. not if you are an alcoholic.4. etc.
