The act of getting a tattoo tends to be a rebels decision, they decry the norm and play at being outside the system(or partially outside), but they still have to spend money, and loads of money at that(drugs, alcohol, tattoos, concerts etc), to conform to their non conformity. Which unless they're a (drug) dealer, requires getting a job and paying taxes just like everyone else. Most rebellious risk takers go to the big name concerts like Warped Tour, or Ozzfest who are marketed by a corporate society driven deliberately to suckle every last penny out of the loyal rebels who follow them as a culture. Unless they're going only to local bars, listening to local music, and drinking local brews they're being a bunch of brainwashed consumerists, they'll just punch you in the face for talking s**t about their favorite band. Rebellion is an image payed for by Hollywood and most people with tattoos drink everything they sell. Spending is its montra they just won't tell you that. Then there are the other ones I spoke of who don't fall into the category of consumerist, the ones who want to express themselves with more than skulls, fire, wolves, angry cats, and naked ladies the ones with real pasts that they want to show the world, but most likely aren't doing it to to be risk takers. (admit it beyond my liberal guess at 50% the number is more like 75% of people with tattoos have flames/skulls/wildanimals)My point being, most people with tattoo's are just sheep in wolves clothing. Still living with their parents or freeloading off a friend pretending their lifestyle is original and exciting, when most of them end in the same dull thumping crash that they tried to pull themselves out of when they got their first tattoo. Lives filled with self loathing, wrath, and regret. Devoid of dignity and respect. Tattoos on exciting risk takers are pathetic. Try thinking about more than the courage it takes to brand yourself and you might get it.In high school I was an artist. I actually dropped out because I would rather draw pictures and hang out with my friends than do homework and pay attention to the teacher. I got lucky getting my diploma because our school had programs in place for kids like me. So no I don't dislike art, I dislike rebels who pretend they're artistic. Which is most people who have tattoo's.

I was thinking that each of those tattoos looked like something doodled by an eighth grader, right before I read your comment. Dugg!
