Looks s**te to me. There's nothing there of any substance. Just a load of crap about what they **are going** to do. (One day?)Here's a tip to you guys before you start pimping your s**t on digg - MAKE SURE YOU HAVE SOME DECENT CONTENT TO DIGGnoobs
Wow, some people don't seem to be able to understand simple humour. Funny site and looks like it could be a good service but I would be worried about being connected with illegal downloading etc..
Whether it started as a joke or not - I think that this is a great idea. The Web 2.0 part just makes it easier to digest and I for one appreciate that. If this was developed on Ning, I'm sure that no one would have a problem with it at all.I'm kind of surprised by the backlash of Diggers who don't want the company to raise any money or put themselves out there to be sold from the beginning. I know that this isn't 1999 anymore, but ideas as opposed to full blown businesses still do get funded sometimes.I've already put my name on the list (before it was dugg) - and frankly it doesn't matter to me if they sell it or not. I just want to see an interesting idea fleshed out and turned into a business.I see this as a perfect add-on to a Titan.tv or a community site. The legal battle that Tivo went through and the one the torrents will deal with are mostly irrelevant to this company.I'm a professional angel investor, so please forgive my opinion since it will always be skewed by my capitalist tendencies.
I'm intrigued, the people behind it [http://www.neuromantics.net/] have worked with tons of major companies so they might be serious about this project, who knows - or it might be some kind of social/viral marketing experiment, which wouldn't suprise me in the least.
