Because the point isn't that I want to apply a style to an element in the HTML. We can already do that with classes, I agree.The point is that I want to use a common measurement or value in various classes or ids.
No, that's not the point, the point is in the title: "take your design to the next level". I'm all in favour of CSS3, but it won't take my design to the next level...
