"He challenged us, he took us to court over our games, and we're going to find a way to teach him a lesson. We will stay within the confines of the law, but we want to see this man behind bars."Where did that quote come from? It's not in the article or any of the linked ones either.
I just came back from the Trial. The judge recused himself and filed a complaint to the Florida Bar Association. That's not to say he's not going to jail, but that's going to be for another judge to decide.http://www.destructoid.com/is-jack-going-to-jail-1-hour-from-nowAlso notable, Judge Friedman and Jack Thompson are going head to head in elections for Judge in 2008. You can't help but wonder if the outcome of this was a cautious political play by the judge. Hard to say, but there is an element of that.
What Jack Thompson needs, is to remember to take his f*king Prozac, because his “Schizophrenia” is getting out of control again.Symptoms of Schizophrenia;“Psychotic" episodes -- include delusions and hallucinations because the patient has lost touch with reality in certain important ways. Schizophrenia interferes with a person's ability to think clearly, to distinguish reality from fantasy, to manage emotions, make decisions, and relate to others.”- Sound like anyone we know?
