Very sad day, whats even worse is users on sites like alluc are praising the shutdown and condemning TV-links for embedded players and hosting content (TV-links never hosted the files they only directed). Lets this be said, there is no difference between TV-links, and these other sites. There was nothing illegal at all with what TV-links was doing, but when you work for the bottom line and you see your profits drop big companies start pointing fingers at little people.
They did this because the good majority of the tv-links documentaries were concerning US Government conspiracies in countless areas!! Tv-links never had any content of its own, only video links from other sites. So it can't be that it was shutdown because of some copyright s**t! I can't think of any other reason why the owner would get arrested as well. Just watch, soon they're gonna be saying he was involved in terrorism... or something! An innocent man has just been arrested and these bastards probably f**ked up his life and his work!! But of coarse, this is just my opinion...
Asahi TV Japan trashed my post of a music video performance, LIVE, of "Beautiful World" by the new J-Pop Singing Sensation, UTADA Hikaru, within a few days of my posting it up on Digg. It is not the performing Artists or their appreciative and growing Audiences that benefit from this Corporate stinginess and small minded conduct; it is only the would-be business bean counters, who don't seem quite human to me, to begin with.
this is enough how long must we keep getting s**t form these company's and governments the majority of these shows or animes we are watching were ounce free and how can i say that? because the were put on public television which is free now we are call pirates because we record it off of TV and put subs to it then show it for free like it all-ready was? this is bulls**t we aren't making money off of it we are just showing it and watching it if they don't want us doing that then make a site because it is bull s**t that we must pay to buy something we haven't even seen yet what is wrong with watching an anime before we buy it? i mean really all animes i have watched i have bought them on DVD any unless they really sucked why must we get suckered out of our money to be these all-ready high priced shows? i under stand some people are out there making money off of this but making money to support the freeness as you can say of a site is not profit. I'm going to end it here for now if any of you feel the same way and wish to continue this further let me know. we must stop this oppression against us because of some greedy ass bastards don't wont to lose "money" ill end it on this if it wasn't for free and subbed anime i never would have gotten into it nor would i have ever bought any so if anything its good for the biz as long as your not able to dl it who cares let them stream it for People who are streaming it just put them under microscope and make sure they aren't getting more money then they need for ad selling to keep there stuff running Ive rambled to much again ja ne everyone and i hope you greedy anti "piracy" scum bags choke on your bulls**t laws and die that is all
why would i ever wont a corrupt system to make laws to restrict me more? your insane if you want to obey you corrupt system and like having other ppl tell you how to live go for it ill live my own life by my own judgment not the judgment of pawns controlled by the corps. learn to live life for your self and not to be a drone be like ever one else and better like some drone s**t if i was like you id be a prepy person by now and thank god I'm not
The thing is that he is abiding by copyright law as he is not hosting any material on his own servers. He's simply cataloging links which point to where the actual material is, which is no worse than what any search engine such as google will do for you. He's not breaking any laws thus why he was released without charge within the 24 hour time limit they are allowed to hold a person. It's been done before, they don't have any evidence to stick on him so they'll bring him in to try and shake him up abit in the hope that he won't do it again, which in this case has unfortunatly seemed to of worked. They've probably got him on some crappy trumped up charge and said don't do this again or we'll put this other crappy non related charge on you.
