One bullet damaged Beutler's spleen, and he had it removed during surgery this morning at the Washington Hospital Center. He's expected to make a "pre-trauma" recovery, which is to say, a completely full recovery.

Bet it was a misunderstood young man who shot him. He should be coddled and set free as soon as possible so that other Liberals may help him.

Thank God D.C.'s super effective draconian gun laws haven't been repealed yet or he would be dead... oh... wait. Oops.Okay, that was in poor taste. But true, nonetheless....seriously though, this sucks. D.C. is such a problem. It's such a beautiful city, but a sad testament to what happens when Government, even local Government, handles to much of people's lives. Very, very sad.
