I love LifeHacker, but sometimes they just give tips are way too common. I mean "pen and paper"...been using that since I was 2 and I sticked the pen in the nose and used the paper to whipe certain parts, so does this mean I was organizing my life since back then?
Pen and Paper? That's soooo 20th century.Instead of pen and paper I use various note-taking apps on my computer (depending on whether I'm in Linux or Windows) and when I'm away I carry a Digital Voice Recorder (often used for dictation, but I use it just for notes to myself). It comes in VERY handy.Another reason I don't use pen and paper? My handwriting is so bad even I can't read it half of the time.

sinfree: depending on what you do, a quick diagram of a layout or something is better than doing it on the PC.

I think I'd be more productive if I didn't spend so many hours a day on digg... too bad that will never happen because digg kicks too much ass.
