Meh, big deal. The company I work for in West London has most of that, except the hairdresser and the pool (ok, ok, our cafeteria isn't gourmet either, though still good). We even get 20% personal project time. Google hasn't got the monopoly on this sort of thing, you know...
Could have taken 11 more interesting pictures by going to the local mall.Wow.. a haircut. Man alive... a fat chick eating a low cal lunch. Who'd have thunk it... a coffee bar!
From what I hear People in Google Dublin regularly work until 9pm on, this seems more like "live your life at work" rather than "Fun at work" I'd rather get out at 5 and live a real life!.
This has been going on for years in certain other major organizations in this country. The US Military comes to mind. I guess the only difference is that Google won't send you off to Iraq!
Spiderman, fair point, it is a choice, I just think it is a little like bonded labour, thats all. Spending all your time in work just isn't healthy as far as I'm concerned!
Cult? Not getting work done?Is it just me, or is Digg infested with idiots? Google does this to keep morale up, hence people work harder. The company is doubling their revenue every single year, despite adding more s**t like this. Out of every $6 billion they bring in, close to $2 billion is profit. I'm not too worried about the company crashing and burning just yet.
Your post is very approachable. If you are so strong believer in success in life then like to share one thing with you. There is an e-book http://www.succcess.org/ which depicts the description of the success in life. I hope you will like to go through it.
