That's the entire point. Since it's easier to figure out how to do basic editing in iMovie over, say, Windows Movie Maker, someone who is just starting out making videos will probably end up with better results.

I agree. PC Home Movie? What the f**k kind of bulls**t product is that? If you're gonna tout something as being better, then give it a product to be better than. And guess what? PC has Adobe Audition. If that doesn't cut it for your supermodel video, I don't know what the f**k does.

Stubear dude you are right. How dare they try and use cute and amusing ads for what is arguably the strongest computer hardware, software system known to man. So I stand in agreement with your wholehearted endorsement of the Apple Macintosh as being above these ads, as well as the Apple being the premier computing platform. @lycolocoNow, I'm a windows guy, but in these commercials they're touting the software that comes PRE-INSTALLED on macs... last I checked Adobe Audition retailed at an extra $350although i too am wondering wtf "PC Home Movie" is

Geez, I try to give people on digg the benefit of the doubt most of the times but some of you are just plain moronic. This "PC Home Movie" you are all "wtf'ing" about is actually "PC home movie" as in a home movie created on a PC (note, that there's no product named "Mac Home Movie" either). And the fact of the matter is that Adobe Audition is not free and does not come with Windows. Your "comparable product" (i.e. something that comes with Windows for use in making home movies) would be Windows Movie Maker. That product is terrible and that is what they are poking at.
