I agree. If anybody knows of anything comparable, or that comes close, please post!Here's a promising one: <a class="user" href="http://www.bigthink.com">http://www.bigthink.com</a> . The UI is clumsy and the signal-to-noise ratio is lower than TED but I've found a handful "big ideas" there. They're also shorter, which makes browsing through it more economical.
