f**k yeah... it's in Wollongong!!This may very well be the quickest tech upgrade in decades (usually we only see new technology/services about 5 years after the US lol).It will be interesting to see how they set it up though... what speeds, any download restrictions etc
Thats because all of the providers suck balls, which in turn is caused by Telstra pwning the "tubes"... which is only going to get worse since it's being privatized which in plain English means they're now profit driven not quality driven... not that they has much quality left to begin with, but you get the picture.
crappppp...I live near north parramatta, which is technically baulkham hills shire council, but i still have to get stuff managed through parramatta city council...please please please
Sydney is a sprawling suburbia. While it's great for those living in the CBD and selected suburbs, the truth is that the vast majority of Sydney's population will not be able to use it unless visiting those places.
First of all, is it free? Or is it paid for by the government?Second...wifi provided by the government will be much more closely monitored then individuals paying for internet. As such, this will probably make it much easier for the government or the one and only wifi provider to give up names and IP addresses to the RIAA and MIAA.
