The torrent protocol is one of the best inventions of the internet-age. Companies should realise this and try to make the best use of it as they can. Why more companies aren't trying to distribute via this means or another p2p system always shocks me. I hear flash (or YouTube in particular) are trying to use p2p to distribute their media instead of all coming directly off the server. So, the flash video is running as a p2p client whilst you are watching a vid. This is going to reduce their costs significantly which is going to help them during this economic down turn.
