This is a really awesome concept, but it leaves a few questions unanswered.What are the chances of something like this actually being made? And in cities, what would be the issues with totally dismantling the current structure that occupies a city block and replacing it with this one? I'd love to see more on it.

This goes to show that you don't HAVE to build boring apartment blocks. There is a development going on quite close to my home where an old commercial site has been rezoned to residential. Instead of building something people want to look at, they're putting up a series of cookie-cutter apartment blocks. The city has not exactly clued in to the fact that interesting buildings make for an interesting city and that attracts more tax payers.

I agree with the potential doubts of city officials, because with such a new design and structure, in the midst of a city, it seems like many rules and ideas would need to be reassessed. And how would the food and water be monitored so that it meets health and safety standards.Let's see a follow up
