This article was so poorly written that I couldn't finish reading it. I have no idea what this statement means. It is now common to see grammar and spelling errors in the mainstream media. This was not always the case. They've gotten lazy.
Yeah, I know what you mean. I had a women tell me she was a gamer and after I asked what games she is into she said Pinball that comes with the computer her husband assembled. Needless to say I added "Oh, very nice *cough*"
