youtube.com— Digital Converter Boxes for TVs seem to have a "hidden" feature, a camera looking back at you, and a microphone no less. What is going on here?

Why not PROVE it to your SELF. Just unscrew the damn thing at your own home. I assume you do know how to use a screw-driver, right? If not, you deserve whatever happens to you.
I know because I'm not a f**king idiot. Just where do you think this box would be "transmitting" to? How much bandwidth is "Big Brother" willing to burn in order to watch you vegetate in front of your TV? How many people are being hired by the government to watch you? And how did they get everyone to be quiet about it? Aside from that, there's no connection between the camera module and the printed circuit board - it's just been glued to the side of the power transformer, where it's not going to do anything but fool the gullible.

How do you know? Pre-Bush, I'd have called this kind of thing paranoid. Now I call it just questionable and deserving of further inquiry.

The guy who made the video confessed it's a fake, but people keep passing this fraud around and the sane people in the world die a little bit more.http://www.snopes.com/photos/technology/converter. ...http://blog.wired.com/27bstroke6/2009/02/dtv-conve ...
