quit your bitching, seriously. For those of you who played any paper mario before this: you know what an RPG is, you're excused.for those of you who are action/platform gamers: there's more to life than 'hurr hurr I click A to kill!' read a little, it does wonders for your ravaged mind.for those of you new to the series: there's prequels out there for a reason.thanks and have a nice day!
FF6 beats ff7 in so many ways:it's been remade. Twice already. (GBA and Playstation)unlike FF7, the main bad guy actually succeeds in destroying the world they live in (kefka? world of ruin?)FF6 has more characters, each with their own destinct and separate storylines and pasts.and as far as difficulty? final fantasy 2 / 4 was by far the most difficult I've ever played. dust off your snes or go get the GBA re-make. I dare you. Only thing ff7 had going for it was CGI. that's it. the story was boring until you get out of Midgar, and after that, some parts just dragged on.you want real RPGs?Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy 2 (or 4 in the PROPER order), FF3 (6 in proper order), Final Fantasy Tactics (the original, not the mockery on the gameboy advance), earthbound, lufia II, and I could go on... but I won't.play any of these, come back to me and tell me that FF7 was better than any of them.
I haven't played it, but I know from the last Paper Mario I played on the GC, that there is probably quite a bit of dialog. I, however, liked it a lot in the gamecube version. The whole atmosphere and strangeness of the mario universe and its characters just seems entertaining to me. When I get a Wii, I'll have to get this game.
So true, I haven't played SPM in about a month in part because there's just way too much reading which makes the game boring in my opinion. Nintendo needs to seriously look into hiring voice actors

I gave up on Nintendo when I discovered that Gamecube games still sounded like N64 games.Seriously - weren't there even a few lines in Super Mario 64?
