actually.. you can't buy Nintendo stock. Thankfully, it's not a publically traded company.. which is why they can still innovate and take huge risks. If they had shareholders to answer to every quarter, they'd be more like the other crap companies out there just trying to squeeze every penny from the consumer and not doing anything to really earn it.On the bright side of the investment coin, the comapany that's making the gyroscopic device (actual name 3-axis iMEMS accelerometer, really) for the Wii controller IS. It's a company called Analog Devices, Inc. (NYSE: ADI), currently trading at $36.03. Enjoy, make some money.
I'll be a PS fanboy until the day I die and the last Nintendo product I bought was a GBA. But, damn, combine this movie with teh PS3 s**t (not to mention those rootkits) and sorry Sony.
Wow, amazing! I haven't been a gamer for quite some time, I recently got a Gamecube last December and have only played Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles and got kinda bored of it...but I'm a whore for Mario games. Since I don't play games much, I didn't even consider the Wii back when it was the Revolution. Now that all this great stuff is surfacing now though, including backwards compatibility with Gamecube games AND the rumour of a really good price point, I just might look into one. This is a bit off topic, but personally I think it'd be super kick ass if someone made a game to use 2 wiimotes as drumsticks for a game, since they're motion sensing and all.
