blog.scifi.com — Man, if the busses in New York were a bit more like this I'd probably skip the subway a lot more often. This is the "SuperBus," a 30 passenger electric vehicle that can move along at up to 155 MPH. It's so fast because it's aerodynamic, so low to the ground that riders can't stand up inside.

That's the coolest bus I have ever seen in my life.

I have some info on this. in the Netherlands they wanted to have a train that went from the north ( basically the farm province) to the west where all most of the city's are. city's like Amsterdam and Rotterdam. The idea was to build a Maglev train. but our government decided that they did want a maglev train. now wubbel okkels ( our first astronaut) made up this bus. the greatest thing about is bus is that it gos fast and it also go's over the highway so there is no reason to build new bridges ( we have allot of them) so its cheaper.

Had you read two sentences further you would not have made an ass out of yourself.

I do see a lot of hobos with cellphones. They get the prepaid ones to keep in touch with family, suppliers, etc.

The "sequel" episode to that, 2001, was even better.

Yeah my brother has class with Ockels.. he's real enthusiastic about his Superbus.. but at the same time is getting talk about becoming too commercially involved in just trying to make a quick buck...

I would change 155mphness for acceleration, lightness, and cost-effectivity. 155mph is not necessary for any urban area, unless it has it's own track, which can be wasteful of space. well, if there are that many fewer cars, it *will* be worth the space, time, and work.Let's run the demos.
