The new Netbeans will also become a first class Ruby editor. Including Wizards for Rails. You will be able to edit Ruby code with code completion, multivariable refactoring, debugging with break points and both JRuby and Ruby support. If you think beyond Java, a nice Ruby on Rails IDE is another great reason to use Netbeans
