I'm from Argentina and a lot of people hates a lot of people and a lot of people loves a lot of people like everywhere else. You only have to make sure to go out with the right people. I have a lot of foreign friends and none of my friends have ever had a problem with any of my foreign friends so you are more than welcome to come to Argentina.

Agree with supermanred. You usually know if there are any Americans on your tour bus, or just in the same touristy location. It seems like they want everyone to know that they're American. I guess they're proud of this, but ignorant to the fact that admiration of USA peaked in the 60s and has dropped like a stone after the Bush years.The Brits are the ones walking around sniffing and using that snot-stained handkerchief from their pocket every 10 seconds.
