How many European countries have a couple of trillion dollar deficit and want to suddenly implement Universal Healthcare?If a private company can provide tailored benefits at a competitive price, then why not choose that over a "One size fits all" health care plan offered by the government?

From the taxes that the collective public pays for the public good of which I have paid a fraction into. It's really similar to how insurance works in your country.Except that I don't have to consult with any insurance companies... Nor can they deny me coverage. Oh, and they also don't increase my payments or alter my coverage based on my past or current health problems.
