I wish stories like this made it into the mainstream media more often but it seems everyone is buying into this sensationalism. People seem to have a guilt complex where they like to blame themselves for apocalypse.BTW Polymath22 let's not forget the Earth ain't a perfect sphere though.

Let's also not forget that 97% of the news is biased toward a scientific consenses and not the "but, but, but, 1% disagree!" tactics of those opposed to the concept of global warming.
