This is only if they inject you with the Gadolinium (spelling?) dyes. If it's just a normal MRI without having that stuff injected into you then there is no danger. But still, this is a HUGE deal for the MRI industry and for anyone who needs one because NSF is some scary stuff.

Adding to everetts' comment, it has also only been proven in cases where the patient had kidney problems. Still, pretty scary!
