to everyone who lives anywhere remotely close to that school... take a piece of paper with "Dugg" on it and tape it to the building------------------------or "f5" +Digg
Canton City Prosecutor Frank Forchione didn’t think it was funny.“Michael said it was a joke,” Forchione said. “We showed him how we deal with this kind of joke.”What and Ass!!!!
Mike's trial is Thursday. I hope to hear some good news from him after that. This should not have gone this far. Good luck to the family, as any trial is hard, especially a Criminal trial with a severely demented prosecutor.
Alright. The results are in and Restart pleaded guilty to a lessened charge of "Criminal Mischief". A misdemeanor giving him 20 hours of community service. The news (accompanied by video) here: <a class="user" href="http://www.wkyc.com/news/news_article.aspx?storyid=46088">http://www.wkyc.com/news/news_article.aspx?storyid=46088</a>explains it all. And also the "online support" (see what 2000 diggs can accomplish?) helped a lot in the decision to lessen the charge. So now that this is said and done, can I have my school's homepage back now? I'm sure Mr. Erb is sick of shutting it down every time a script kiddie comes up with another DDoS attack.Another side note about just how much I hate the Stark County judicial system... I got the exact same misdemeanor sentence about a year ago and my punishment was 45 hours. They just pick a number out of a hat and say that's what you're punishment is.And the moral of the story is....Don't mess with computers or servers that belong to your school, because nine times out of ten your administration is going to be a bunch of ignorant bastards about it and ignore all facts before filing a police report and thinking they're going to make an example of you.
"he didn't see how hitting a button on his keyboard could really get him into that kind of trouble. He was wrong." wow! Power to the empire. Its great to see a world come together and litigate the hell out of each other. If you don't want someone to take advantage of a formmail script use the Perl Monks version. Otherwise you are just as guilty.
