You state a fact and get buried? Gotta love the "wisdom" of crowds! Christianity was forged in oppression. The Christians of Rome were like the Muslims of today, in that they were social dissidents with a martyrdom complex, and the State was more than happy to oblige them. Hopefully it turns out differently for us than it did for the Romans. Hopefully, this mess we're in now doesn't result in the POTUS declaring Islam the official religion of the US.
