I just bought a new Dell Inspiron with no option for XP. I had to reformat it and put XP on which took awhile. I'm sure it's a matter of time until they start making the new hardward drivers incompatiable with XP.

Under the assumption that this article is about to hit the front page, I think it'd be really useful if people who have purchased an XP laptop in the last few months could write about it here. Just why it's good and where I might be able to get it. This seems like the last moment for XP, and I really would like to get one last up-to-date laptop that can handle my NWN 2 & Witcher games.I skipped Windows ME & 2000 -- I stuck with 98SE for quite a while and then went directly to XP. I believe I will be skipping Vista entirely, and trying whatever comes next (or maybe I'll have an affair with Linux on the side). So, seriously, I'm looking to digg up anyone who can reply with working links to good XP laptops. Thanks!
