McCain thinks people making over $254,000 a year are middle class. (granted, if you live in Chicago, DC, LA or NYC, that would keep you in the middle class range (albeit at the very top, and still in the top 5% of income nationally), but if you live anywhere else in the country, you're making three to five times as much as the middle class in your area.And that money isn't going to people who sit on their asses, it's going to support the troops in Iraq without having to borrow even more money from China. It's going to help shore up the existing entitlements programs that Republicans put into place (like the medicare drug plan, maybe???)
