I don't "hate" the Zune but neither will I buy one. Currently it doesn't work with the Mac OS and installing another OS for a media player would be like me telling a Windows user to install OS X through OSX86 in order to use iLife. In other words foolish since Windows users have other apps that do pretty much anything iLife does. Same thing with players that use Plays4Sure. None of the those sites for content work with Macs either.I also don't like the system for content purchase for Zunes. Having to buy points that it's almost impossible to leave a zero-sum balance (in essence, giving a free loan to MS) bothers me. People who use iTunes gift cards are in the same boat, but with gift cards it's optional over whether to use or buy them. If I want a song off iTunes, I buy it and it costs 99 cents. Nothing more, nothing less, and I don't have to buy anything else to get my money out of it. And yes I realize that you don't HAVE to buy anything from the Zune Marketplace to add content to a Zune. You can add your own songs from your own CDs, just as you can for an iPod or most other MP3 players.iPods are nice, but certainly not the be-all end-all of portable media players. Others are cheaper or have more features (or both). dunno if your comment is sarcastic, but I'm really enjoying this...Having my cell phone stolen a week ago (a nice v3x), it absolutely pisses me off to know that the authorities CAN track it (by simply evaluating the strenght of the signal between a few antennas, they can pinpoint its location) however just won't do it unless it's something important, like a kidnapping or a suicidal person. I personally think that someone who smashes a car window to steal a cell phone is more important to catch than someone who doesn't care about his own life... but that's another topic.Hey, it sounds like intrusion, but if YOUR zune got stolen, you'd want the f*cker who stole it to get caught, trust me.
