You guys f**king serious??? This is probably one of the best use of the stimulus money along with repairing infrastructure. This is medical research on neurotransmitter. Yes, it's done on monkey, but if you got half a half brain, you will know that medical research are usually done on animal because otherwise we will have to use human.Research like this generate knowledge which is the key to our future. It's ten thousand time better than using the stimulus fund to give out free money as welfare and other entitlement programs. If you disagree, please explain any other stimulus project is better?

So you prefer giving out money to people that lost homes, instead of creating jobs for those people? Technicians keeping those monkeys are not highly paid and are very likely to be suffering from underwater mortgages, you know. Handouts are rarely a good idea, but job-creating handouts are always better than cash handouts. Also, did you just say that people need drugs more than monkeys? Not that I disagree, but could this be the real reason for your outrage?

That's because it's a gateway drug... one minute you're smoking a joint, the next thing you know you're rolling around in heroin needles and hookers.I should probably include the "/s" on this one...
