latimes.com — With political discourse reduced to screaming contests and actual news eclipsed by exclusive and shocking footage of celebrities without makeup, we've become not only impatient with but downright opposed to the kinds of ideas that can't be reduced to a line on a screen crawl or a two-sentence blog entry. Have you fallen into this trap?

It is clear that Bush is indeed stupid. Right? Yale and Harvard.....corruption is everywhere.

We had a chance to have Dennis Kucinich, who is very smart, but we were too chickens**t to stand up for his right to be heard as a candidate.

Big f**king deal. John Kerry (who served in Vietnam) was a C student who actually scored lower than George W. Bush. I don't give a s**t how these people did in school. They all graduated. Instead of worrying about how John McCain did at the Naval Academy, why not pay attention to the fact that neither Obama or Hillary Clinton have the qualifications or the experience to be President? They are both lying liberal socialists. Let's see how far you liberal fringe kooks digg me down for this comment. Let's go for -200 :)

I dugg you down, but I also dugg IIAmusedII down. Barack succeeded regardless of the odds. The point isn't which race or gender or religion will give you better odds of being educated. The point is everyone should have the means to become educated should they have the motivation. Analyzing what has been wrong in the past doesn't improve where we are now.

Uh-oh, I'm in trouble now. Another unnoticed misspelling got through in my last comment. Where's JulyZerg to point it out when you need him/her.
