timesonline.co.uk — "I’ve got about $20,000 on me at the moment, which is about the usual. Cash has always appealed to me more as a means of payment than card". Great interview with Woz discussing his feelings towards finances.

Yeah or you could go the nonviolent hippie route, and carry some DMSO mixed with LSD and a paintbrush. Paint that little treat on his door handle and follow him home. Before he gets home...well...just walk up in a halloween mask and ask for his money or you'll eat his soul. He'll probably be grateful to hand it to you.

Well now you all know who to attack if you need a quick 20k....

Woz is a cool guy-a nice guy-and we all are inspired by him-but his "quirks" are getting weirder and weirder-course aren't we all at least somewhat weird?

I've worked hard everyday since I got out of school. Where's my $60m IPO?

I'd hate to stand in line behind him at the ATM machine.

I don't live in Amerca. My government has no legal right to my financial records unless they have a warrant.

Woz is a cool and smart guy when it comes to technology but this interview shows some basic financial ignorance:1) No idea if he has any type of retirement plan. (although for him it doesn't matter much)2) If he really carries around $20,000 then (at current U.S. high-interest/money market interest rates of 5%) he's loosing $1,000/year (pre-tax, pre-inflation) holding that cash in his hand rather than in a bank or broker account. ... and he says he uses credit cards, so why doesn't he just charge it?! - does he buy a lot of stuff on the black market or something??3) He suggests the government print more money to cause DEFLATION - That's wrong - it would cause INFLATION! I think he's confusing supply and demand principles thinking more supply would lead to less demand (and deflate the currency) - which is incorrect.4) I think he's joking about the METAL black credit card. Although those black cards do exist - <a class="user" href="http://www.snopes.com/business/bank/blackcard.asp">http://www.snopes.com/business/bank/blackcard.asp</a> he brought out a credit card sized piece of metal (it was silver) on the Colbert Report and called it his "BUSINESS CARD". He said he likes to cut his meat with it on an airplanes but he made no mention that it was really a credit card - it didn't look like it - @3min30sec: <a class="user" href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=thrid5RL0Ss">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=thrid5RL0Ss</a> (you can tell from the clip he's quite a joker ...but didn't Comedy Central remove all their content??)

what a baller, woz buys his "friend" a $200k diamond ring and they're not even married!

Wow, that's a lot of cash... but he earned it. I hope to be like him someday, but more on track of my income and finances.Woz is a great guy, even going through to appear on the Screen Savers to give a new laptop to Kevin Mitnick when he went off probation. I identify with Woz in the fact that money doesn't matter to me... I help my friends out whenever I can. I'm in debt because of it though which isn't good =Z

Yeah and his comment about the emmision laws helping him find parking spaces is sickening... Seriously, why do people look up to guys like this? He makes Richard Stallman look like a saint.

Doubtful since the Prius is not really that environmentally friendly itself.

Nice bluff, but I don't digg liars...

He's getting paid to not work at Apple.Sounds like a sweet deal to me.Besides -- in a few years, the secrets he knew probably won't be secrets anymore.
