macblogz.com — The points Wozniak makes about Apple?s product pipeline, and how they have long roadmaps sometimes stretching 1 or 2 years ahead, may be enough to reassure people that whatever products are released over the next 6 months, have been planned for quite a while. They aren?t being rapidly conceived and developed without Jobs? overseeing vision.

Their relationship is better than you would think. Woz says a lot about Apple and Jobs, things that are not always positive. If anyone else would say these things Jobs would cut them out of his life completely. The fact that Jobs actually talks to Woz says that there's a level of respect even if they aren't as close as they had been.

It's strange but he is still an Apple employee. It's more symbolic than anything but it makes perfect sense. Many idolize Woz and his personality is engraved into the company, perhaps not as much as Jobs, but even the original mac team used Woz's designs as inspiration for the mac. His effect on the company is far reaching.

Obviously given their secrecy of Apple and Jobs himself, shareholders would be safe to assume (perhaps even if untrue) that he's never coming back. And of course the stock will be affected negatively. Expect the worst, plan for it - but hope for the best.

Anyone who can use a computer is going to be more valuable than a CEO!Dave: No offense Woz, but home computers are going to be a passing fad like MTV.
