I wish Apple went with Verizon instead of Cingular as the wireless carrier for the new phone... I guess we can all be glad that they didn't choose Sprint..

I think Apple has really dropped the ball taking so darned long making a final version of QuickTime v7 available for Windows.I use both Macs and Windows in my office and I create content for both platforms. And not having a dependable (and easy) way to play h.264 on a PC has become a serious pain in the backside. As a brief side note, I doubt it'll ever happen, but I'd love to see Apple release QuickTime for the popular Linux distros as well.
LOL How terrible did Kanye West sound Live, versus his studio produced tracks. He's about one notch above Puffy (errr Diddy) on the talent depth chart - which isn't saying much.
I swear the Mac guys at work were wetting their panties this week in anticipation of the hallowed leader's marketing extravaganza. So what miracle of technology do we get? A smaller MP3 player. Wow. How underwhelming. No one has ever thought of that before. I guess the multiple colour options will be something they'll announce next year. What next? A new version of Itunes. Software upgrades are recycled news. And finally a phone/mp3 combination. Too bad my friend Keith in Tokyo has had one for quite a while and that they forced people to use a company like Cingular. I know, I know,...Apple takes an existing product and designs 'cool' into it which explains the price people are willing to pay. I might be expecting too much from an event which is nothing more than a sales pitch for a recent variation of a known product. But Apple is at its best when it innovates even with fugly beasts like the iMac G4 that dare to buck conformity. I so prefer it when their engineering department is at the forefront than their marketing. Damn that Hertzfeld, im starting to sound like him!
"I wish Apple went with Verizon instead of Cingular as the wireless carrier for the new phone..."We're sorry, but your preferred wireless phone provider does not support a global standard, and thus is relegated to yesterdays technology. Enjoy your new RAZR that the rest of us have had for a long time now, and please try your call again later. Oh, and keep your crippled bluetooth phones.
Anyone have the keynote for download? My internet @ home is so horrible I cant even stream it :( ... If you have it please post it or email me a linke @ shelby(at)7pounds.net. thanks.
Why on earth does he compare the iPod nano to the Sony HD5 saying that the nano is 67% smaller when the HD5 has 500% more storage space and uses a hard drive????? He should be comparing the HD5 to the the full iPod and saying that the HD5 is 20% smaller!!

CLASSIC KEYNOTE QUOTE from Kanye West, "I'd like to thank Steve Jobs for still letting me perform."
