collegeiseasy.net— The recent controversy surrounding the health of Steve Jobs might have been an attempt to manipulate the price of Apple's stock -- and not for the first time.

Of course, of course. And yet there was NO NEWS, which is the point. And in spite of there being no news--and no investigative reporting--the press sought to get the public riled up over nothing, in order to bring in billions of extra web clicks. Cha-ching! Don't go blaming Jobs or Apple for him not being really sick now.
That's the whole point -- The NY Post should be a reputable source as should the NY Times, but with the information on hand, can what they report be taken at face value? As has been mentioned above, there is ample evidence regarding Jim Cramer and the bulls**t tactics he uses to influence the prices of volatile stocks, but so called reputable sources refuse to cover it.
"but they haven't seemed to do any permanent damage. Apple just bounces back."That's kind of the point lol.Depress the market buy APPL market goes up, sell APPL.Scot Moritz is an expert at it.
