Did I really see 2 posts about how The Bill is a better presenter. Even if you have your head up MS's ass you can't say that with out a dripping amount of sarcasm.
To be honest the only time i watch Microsoft, Sony or Nintendo keynotes, is when they have a new console to be released (eg. once every five years). But nearly every Apple keynote is an event.
I'm fed up with all you guys licking Steve Job's balls. He's just a guy who pisses people off but who tends to be right about certain things. He's using the media to make a cult of personality out of himself: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cult_of_personalityLook in the mirror and tell yourself you don't want to emulate a guy like this. He's using slideshows to SELL PRODUCTS. Is that really what people look up to now?
Yep, Steve Job definitely out did himself on the iPhone presentation! I do not want to change carriers, particularly to Cingular/EDGE network and I only really want an iPDA (everything EXCEPT the phone part, plus a few things, BUT, to be on the leading edge of a technology changing type of product is very tempting. Sure made me want to go right out and buy one ... even if I never activated the phone! It's definitely the way Steve Jobs presented it that made it all the more compelling ... but because of how he presented it, it was so easy to see and desire to be part of the forefront on the cutting edge of the next step for technologies not only for phones, but computers of all sizes. Sure there are show stoppers for me; I want self-servicable batteries so I an have a spare on hand (wifi eats the batteries for lunch), I don't want/need another phone, I want the ability to expand the memory with memory cards, and did I mention, I don't want/need another phone? But damn! It's an awesome piece of equipment! Great job Apple ... I can't even afford one but boy, do I want one! Or more accurately I want everything in there except the phone.
