Bravo (golf claps). This picture comments on modern suburbia by drawing from memes indigenous to such areas today! We see here a representation of the plastic-star-wars-toy-loving 80s; a furry animal eating, which is part of the lolcat obsession of the 00's; and timeless almonds (a nut common to candies and no stranger to the suburbs). When viewing the image each of us are tickled in a different way as each person relates to the mentioned memes in varying degrees. While not particularly unique (certainly not unique to digg), the painstaking effort of the photographer has to be applauded too. There must have been an amount of animal coercion to get the creature in front of the camera; which happens to be focused in a way to allow the grass to be a blurry contrasting background.
Please. We all know we don't come here to get the news, we come here to get our opinions measured and weighted by others. Why else bother submitting or commenting? If all you wanted was the news, you wouldn't even need an account.
