Alot of people are talking about is the republican party dying? In my opinion that rest solely on Obamas shoulders. IF Obama's presidency is a resounding success then the GOP is going to continue to lose even more seats in the senate and house, and they will probably lose the presidential election if Obama does a good job. If that happens then the republicans will be completely cast to the side, maybe to emerge at some later point when future democrats mess up. I dont expect any republican to turn around the republican party, because their future depends on Obama. Only time will tell which way it will go
This is not an coincident, after picking Sarah Palin to steal votes from Hilary's supporters( and fail miserable), now they pick this guy to steal black's votes in the next election. What a bunch of LOSERS !!!

Read the CNN article carefully, then read this article written at the end of last year by Jeffrey Lord, former Reagan White House political director and author. He writes about the leading candidates for the RNC Chairmanship of the time, Saltsman et al: http://spectator.org/archives/2008/12/30/hapless-w ...What a difference a few weeks makes. This is a stunning change of direction. Or is it? One can only "hope."

I've seen Steele interviews on quite a few cable news shows including CNN. He seems like a smart guy. I'm sure he'll do well.
