dailykostv.com — JOHN HARWOOD: "I gotta’ tell you Monica, I’ve been watching politics for a long time, and this one is really over-the-top. What is shows you is there are a lot of cynical people who try to fan controversy, and let’s face it, in a country of 300 million people, there are a lot of stupid people too"

You people didn't seem to have any problem with that when it was George HW Bush delivering the EXACT SAME QUESTION, or when Reagan did the broadcast that quite literally pushed his agenda into classrooms, telling kids how wonderful tax cuts were. And now you're freaking out because Obama wants to tell kids to stay in school?f**k you. You're all a bunch of f**king hypocrites.

He's only saying what everyone with sense is thinking--and he's not trying to win any votes. Thanks for proving his point, though.

Sure, it's so irrelevant to spend the first day of school talking about the importance of attendance. *eyeroll*Analyze yourself. Would you even be talking about this if your guy (whoever he was) won the election and was giving a speech to schoolkids? I think not. Recognize your hypocrisy and grow out of it, please.

People are quick to slam the next generation (regardless of what people think of their surroundings in school) they would do circles around the kids of just a decade ago. There is so much information out there.. Look at how distinctly different the polls show the internet generation is from everyone else. Progress can be slow, but it doesn't always mean it doesn't exist.
