Finally. Very exciting. Stargate represents the best concept for a TV show ever seen on television. It never gets old, and is only limited by one's imagination. Very nice to see that one can now download it on the web legally.
Usually when a TV show mentions a website, they register the domain name too. It looks like in this case someone else registered it, and now they're just using it to redirect to their own homepage. The same thing happened with that search engine that they once used on the show, 'findorama.net'. Some guy bought it and links to his home page, just in case someone ever watches the episode and decides to check out what's there. If you're going to register a domain name used in a TV show, at least try to do something interesting with it, like turn it into whatever they said it was on the show :)
Maybe you should go complain and beg iTunes to start putting your kind of shows on there instead? I'm sure they'll make a lot from Big Brother, Celebrity Survivor, The Simple Life, and all those intelligent shows you so obviously prefer...If you don't like the show, don't buy it. Watch something else, it's that simple.
I've alway been a fan of the show and after watching on Friday it occurred to me that I hadn't seen the movie in a while. So I popped in the DVD. Wow what a difference. Not just effects wise, but the whole plot and everything is so different! I think the movie is something to watch when you haven't seen the show in a while so that the difference won't be so apparent.
Hey, I download the episodes, sure, but I _always_ buy the DVDs. There is simply too large of a time delay between showing and DVD release. We're nearly half way through season 10, and season 9's dvds haven't been released yet. I have all 8 sets of SG1, and the Atlantis box next to my computer. In fact, Season 9 is already preordered.
I wonder how long it will take for people to realize that every "planet: in SG-1 is actually a field or forest about 10 minutes from downtown Vancouver....same as Smallville.
