youtube.com — There are few upcoming MMOs that have generated more hype than BioWare's epic science fiction tale, Star Wars: The Old Republic. From the very beginning, every rumor generated new speculation about the game and what features might be included.

Is there a Gungan area so I can kill Jar Jar over and over again?

"When has Bioware let you down!?"There's always a first time for everything

Biscuit, not surprisingly you have missed the point. It's not science fiction. It's swords and sorcery fantasy.

Bioware would probably turn it into a hack and slash game if they went the same route they did with ME2.

I've been trying to follow information about TOR, but I haven't seen anything about space. That was one of the aspects I loved about SWG (pre NGE) and Jump to Lightspeed. I loved having my own ships that I could travel from system to system, etc. Star Wars is about space and I think that any decent SW MMO should have a combination of ground and space. Especially if they are going to have a bounty hunter class.I could never go back to SWG, but I miss my tricked out Firespray.

you have two single player KotORs. There are no Star Wars MMOs out there (worth playing) anymore. So many gamers hear MMO and whine. Give Bioware a chance to change the MMO-scape.

He will not be invited back. At least, if it were my game design company he wouldn't.

I would much prefer to see them continue to define the RPG-scape. f**k MMOs. Especially MMOs that are derivative of the EQ formula.

EQ was and still is a great game goof

Bioware is trying to bring their style of RPG to the MMO-scape. Which I think is much more revolutionary. I think most haters are turned off by MMOs because they think MMOs are all about grind and progression. I personally play for customization, community, and the ability to make a mark on a virtual persistent world. Those are the key features that attract me to MMOs. Not the arbitrary race to be the best geared most powerful person on the server.
