Moving pictures, but hopefully this long conflict is over soon. Not that i'm getting my hopes up considering Velupillai Prabhakaran wears a cyanide capsule around his neck i'm guessing finnally finishing off the LTTE is going to be harder than the Sri Lankan Military thinks.

So weird. I visited Colombo back in 1983 and took a trip up the coast to the most beautiful beach I've ever seen -- just blue waters and coral as far as the eye could see. The people of this village fell over themselves being genuinely gracious toward me. It's just so sad to see this beautiful country and its incredible people being torn apart by this asinine internal strife.
