techcrunch.com — Israeli startpage company Spotback released a major upgrade today that may take it to the top of a heap of competitors in terms of functionality and usability. It also looks very nice, which is all too rare for web startpages.

@smuirhead - you can put google bookmarks on the homepage.Add the bookmarks category and then label them "homepage"

I'd never heard of this site before either, and being a news junkie, is an absolute God-send.Beautifully implemented and designed as well - being functional and aesthetically pleasing at the same time.If I could give it more than 1 digg, I would.

Just FYI, in firefox you can set the homepage to multiple urls by adding | symbols.So google and digg homepage: <a class="user" href="http://www.google.com|http://www.digg.com">http://www.google.com|http://www.digg.com</a>
