slashfilm.com — "There will be many more Spider-Man films to come," Marvel Studios' Kevin Feige reveals. "We already have stacks of ideas for the next one because of the wealth of stories in the comics. We could be making Spider-Man movies for the next 20 years, based on the 50 years of Spider-Man history we have."

I loved the first two, and I think the spiderman movies are a cut above all the other "superhero" movies out there.

Spider-Man 23: Stiltman's Revenge (see number #2 on http://www.bamkapow.com/top-ten-worst-spider-man-villains-314-p.html)The magic can only last so long before it becomes a studio-exec-hoar. A fourth movie would really be pushing it.

Reminds me of the "Land Before Time" series for kids. They've made at least ten of those last I heard...geez

The big mistake that the Batman series made was that for the 3rd and 4th films (Forever, Batman and Robin) they fell into the mindset that 'Bigger is better', so things go more over the top and unbelievable. The first two might not have been realistic but they held a consistent view on the world of Gotham that wasn't too far out from reality. To an extent, the last few Bond movies have done the same.So long as Spiderman can avoid falling into this trap, they stand a good chance maintaining the standard that has been set. If Raimi does move on and someone else takes over, so long as the studios don't go on the cashing in route we should at least have movies that are good, even if they don't match the first two.

I hate to say it, but the actress that plays one of the most beloved characters -- Aunt May -- probably isn't going to live that long. She was excellent in her role, and it wouldn't be the same with a substitute.

At this point, I really think that 3 movies is enough for any series, with the exception of Star Wars and 007. I wouldn't want a Spiderman 4-6 if Sam Raimi isn't the director and I definately wouldn't want a new cast.

If they went all the way to Spiderman 30 I'd watch everyone of them. This is my by far the best superhero movie ever.

They could easily give themselves the ability to make as many Spiderman movies as they want....Just pull a James Bond and dont use numbers
