Maybe the success of conservative hacks like Rush and Hannity and the Fox news channel says more about the average intellect and level of education in this country than it does about the quality of those outlets. Similar logic might find one asking: Why does Britney Spears do so well in music? Surely you don't think it's because she makes the best music? Rush Limbaugh is to news what Britney Spears is to music. Fodder for the raggedy, unwashed masses.

The people who are "in charge" don't call the sheeple useful idiots for nothing. If the profligate spending was bad under Bush, why isn't it bad if its multiplied by a factor of four under Obama? Was it the Republican Congress that insisted on bad loans to people unable to repay them or was it Jesse Jackson and a demented midget named (Do it all) Deval Patrick who was so radical in his playing of the race card that he only spent one year in the Clinton whorehouse as Assistant Comissar for Minority Enforcement at the DOJ before he moved on to being on the board of a lending company that abused minority community members with predatory loans. The left are constantly projecting their predispositions on the right, now that Obama has a "mandate" he is doing all those things the Democrats accused the Republicans of thinking of doing. See DHS actively encouraging the FBI to investigate citizen (not illegal aliens or terrorists) based on their political beliefs. Ignorance is Strength, you must be Superman.
