durazine,My thoughts exactly, When Foley was removed after an hour of the FACT that Hastert was aware kinda took all the steam out of it. It was the secret bid to get some power back. To spend all your cover so as to avoid having to talk about the issues became a very scary thing for the left. When they ask "how do we avoid the issues now?" the reply was simply "Oh s**t, ring somebody else up with it.. And do it quick Reid just got busted twice commiting real crimes.Oh and dont mention Stubbs" For those of you intellectually impaired.. I did just make up the above.
The door just needs to be kicked in and the whole rotten structure will come crashing down. (The quote is applicable regardless of who originally said it.)
@BigBaRayThere are two errors in fact in the above comment:1. Foley wasn't removed. He quit.2, There is compelling evidence that Hastert was very much aware that something was up, but ignored it for the sake of political convenience.
@zephcInteresting... however, I'll reserve my opinion until those people say that under oath. And if there is a cover up, then Hastert should resign. Our elected officials should not be lying under oath and covering up illegal activities.

Yes, hiding this and covering it up worked so well in the past.
